With a new semester coming up, I find myself seeking better ways to teach. This led me to rethink what I currently know about teaching and presenting (hint: not a lot, actually), which led to some research, which led to this:
To say I got a lot out of this talk would be an understatement. I found it as an example of how to give a great presentation, but I soon became lost in the story he is telling, and finally in the music itself.
Toward the end of Benjamin Zander’s talk, the transformative power of classical music, he says he knows how well he did by noticing the number of shining eyes among his students. That’s what I wanna see.
